Hideout Festival 2012

The sell out Hideout festival returns to Croatia for a second year in 2012 with a programme of even larger proportions with dance music heavyweights Ricardo Villalobos, Four Tet, Caribou and many more confirmed to perform at what is set to become the best electronic music festival in Europe.

The three-day Hideout festival will return to the sprawling outdoor Zrce beach site on the island of Pag, Croatia, but extend further into the week and multiple stunning beachside venues such as the hugely popular and beautiful Kalypso and new secret venues around Pag. The headliner Ricardo Villalobos is currently a rare performer but still holds the title as one of the most in demand DJs in the world. He joins two outfits that follow in the footsteps of Daft Punk to eclipse the DJ format to deliver a band platform for the dance music genre - Four Tet and Caribou - ensuring Hideout is a serious contender for the festival destination of the summer.

Hideout attracts the big talents of BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Crosstown Rebels Damian Lazarus & Jamie Jones, Bristol’s Julio Bashmore, Erol Alkan and Andy C to return alongside fresh and colourful faces from across the dance music spectrum such as Boston reedits heroes Soul Clap, Norwegian disco maestro Prins Thomas, Dirtybird’s Claude Von Stroke, new BBC Radio 1 recruit Skream and second lady of the station, Heidi. Detroit prodigy Kyle Hall, the talented Brodinski and the new young sensation, Skrillex are also set to perform.

New brands mulletover and Birmingham’s Face will join the UK night army including Crosstown Rebels, Resident Advisor, Mono_Cult, Sonodo, Drop The Mustard, Urban Nerds, Jaunt, Just Jack and many more at intimate and large scale events across the clock.

Rising stars such as Maceo Plex, best known for unique robotic vocals, and dubstep champion Pearson Sound AKA Ramadanman plus DJ Fresh ensure there is a balance of new talent to sample alongside the current favourites in the game.

Hideout festival is carving a niche into an overpopulated festival market, handpicking the best underground talent alongside those that are reaching mainstream success to deliver a festival that entertains and thrills from sunrise to sunset. Their second year promises more daytime events with many more pool and boat parties, evening beach soirees and never-ending nighttime fiestas that showcase the cream of the current global electronic music elite.

Capturing the many strains of the electronic music rainbow, Hideout is for those that want to hear something new and dance throughout the day and night.
